Swine Flu Preventive Tips
Swine flu has awakened in the United States. It is not that we have never heard of it, it just has been really quiet. There has been an outbreak back in time, it was just a sleep for awhile. It can get deadly if you don’t take care of it by going to the doctor to get the right attention.
Swine flu is usually transmitted by pigs and it’s very rare for a transmission from human to human. An outbreak has started of more then 100 cases. You can take some preventive measures to lower the chance of getting swine flu.
Try to avoid large crowds. Swine flu is spread by person to person contact. Symptoms of swine flu may not be shown for a few days when a person is infected. You could get it from a person you didn’t think was sick.

What is Swine Flu?
Swine flu or swine influenza is a disease common in swine, with normal flu-like symptoms, but caused by any strain of the swine influenza virus (SIV – virus endemic in pigs). Though rare in humans, individuals with greater exposure to swine could contract swine influenza if the swine are carrying the particular rare strain of the SIV that is capable of affecting humans. Even then, it is a rare occurrence for the strain to be able to pass from human to human. This could occur if the SIV is able to mutate into a form that can be easily transmitted among humans.
